Why can’t Shep remember his past?
Lost in this World: Animation!
I have finally learned how to create an animation and have made my first one about my short story, Lost in this World. For all of you fans of my story, (which is probably like two,) Lilly appears! Note that the beginning of my animation is a bit slow, but it gets better. Too bad YouTube made the sound all low-quality, otherwise, please tell me what you think!
Thanks to Kyle Andrew Ward (KAW) for the music. I used the song, Take Me Back.
Lost in this World: Rewrite Plans
Now that I have finished my short chapter story, Lost in this World, I have copied and pasted it into Microsoft Word. Without breaks in the chapters, it was about 21 pages long which is a little dissapointing. I plan to rewrite and edit the entire short story, so I would like some advice, tips, etc. Here are some simple questions that would help me make the story better. Thanks for the help!
1. What did you like?
2. What didn’t you like?
3. What did you understand clearly?
4. What didn’t you understand?
5. What needs more work?
6. What needs more detail?
7. Should I introduce that Shep is a dog at the beginning of the story?
Lost in this World: Chapter 10 – Dormant Memories Awaken
Shep wandered around the city aimlessly as he felt that his very heart had been violently ripped from him. As his wounds slowly healed and scabbed over, they brought him great pain as he traveled. Growling and occasionally yelping, he despised the world around him.
Lost in this World: Chapter 9 – Depression in the City
Two teenagers walked into the room where Shep was now lying on the floor. One carried a leash while the other held a muzzle in his gloved hand. One looked to the other with a confused look on his face. “Is he dead?” he asked with a bit of fear reflecting from his eyes.
Happy or Sad Ending?
I have just written two more chapters of Lost in this World and am writing Chapter 9 right now. There will be ten chapters in total meaning I am getting close to the end. I have been debating about the ending every since I wrote Chapter 1, and I don’t know whether I should end it with happiness or sadness and confusion. Which would you rather read?
