Write a story that involves the famous military base, Area 51. The catch is to not include any aliens, extra-terrestrials, space creatures, etc. Basically, don’t include anything from outer space.

I have redone my neopet, Soarris’, page again and have changed him a bit too. He is still a young creature that is constantly changed when he his zapped by the lab ray, but now he is blind also. You are shrouded in darkness as you walk through a thick forest, curiosity driving you forward. Tall pines loom over you, shielding you from the full moon blessing the world with its faint light and small foilage brushes against your legs. You continue through the woods until you come across a peculiar sight. There is a strange, unnatural disturbance amongst the trees straight ahead of you. You walk closer and find it to be a strange entry leading underground. You rub your fingers across the cold, gray steel of the double-doors with questions streaming through your mind. Once again, you feel curosity urging you on. You want to know what this place is. You want to know why it is here. You want to know what is inside…

With my shiny surface, I look almost brand new.
My coat matches that of rich blood.
You can follow my curves around and around.
There is but one interruption in my skin, dipping down.
I come from a larger object and can create even more.
My insides are lush, yet very vulnerable.
I bruise easily so watch where you put me.

All right…I’ve arrived home, with no homework, really tired, and my rabbits are running around me in my room. I would like to write something, but right now I am just too brain dead. I don’t know what to write, even a rant…I think that I will come back to this later on tonight.

Allen Rucker’s The Best Seat in the House

My Advanced English teacher, Mrs. Nelson, once again assigned a reading assignment. This time, we were assigned to read a non-fiction book, give a short speech about it to the class and provide some sort of visual. In my class, most everybody displayed a poster while some had the grab bag, photos, or slideshows. Surprisingly, I was the only one who compiled a video. I love creating videos though and they are such an easy and fun way to stun the class. They’re just time-consuming, that’s all. Anyways, I read The Best Seat in the House written by Allen Rucker and created this video using footage of Lost, one of my favorite TV shows.

Story Idea #11

Write about somebody who is completely invisible at all times. This would be physical, meaning nobody can physically see the person.

After reading Anthem by Ayn Rand, my English teacher, Mrs. Nelson gave our class one day to do two projects on the book. I chose to create the ven diagram with 30 points I think it was and I chose to do the movie project. For the movie project, we had to write where we would film the movie if we had made one, who we would cast, what the opening scene would be like, and what theme the movie would portray. Along with writing the mini report thing, I created a movie trailer to go with it. Since I only had one day to do both projects, it’s not the best video…

Check Up: December 15, 2007

This week from December 9 to December 15, 2007, I wrote a total of 2,798 words. Over the past three weeks, I have read the entire book, Anthem, written by Ayn Rand and 137 pages of Best Seat in the House written by Allen Rucker. I am so sorry that I haven’t been able to come on, write, update the website, write the overview, or finish up the meeting slideshow, but I will get it all done some time…I have just been so consumed with homework, babysitting, band things, etc. I really hate how busy this school year is keeping me. I have no time to myself because I do homework from the moment I get home all the way until I go to bed, and even then, I usually don’t have it all done…As I said before, when I have the time, I will most likely cook up a rant.
